About Lucid Ventures

Lucid Ventures is a brand-new seed-stage VC fund backing AI-native B2B and commercial-ready frontier-tech startups across Canada and the US. We are founded by two seasoned operator-founders:

• Jeremy Auger — Co-founded D2L (TSX:DTOL), an EdTech company scaled to a TSX IPO and unicorn status. 25+ years leading product/engineering, strategy, international expansion, and M&A. Named inventor on 30+ patents.
• Noel Webb — Serial operator-founder who exited his AI-native company (Karen AI) to a global corporate leader (AMS). Former Entrepreneur-in-Residence at a leading VC fund, and active advisor at Next Canada and Creative Destruction Lab.

We are builders. We provide hands-on support to founders, helping them navigate growth, strategy, and markets — and we run our own fund the same way: AI-native, systems-driven, and from scratch.

The Role

We are looking for a summer intern to design, build, and deploy the AI-powered automation and agentic workflows that will run Fund I's operations — from LP pipeline management and deal intake to data-room orchestration and partner reporting.

You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with both partners on real fund operations, real LP fundraising, and real investment deal flow. You will architect systems that directly shape how the fund runs, gain deep exposure to agentic AI development in a live production environment, and graduate the term with a portfolio of shipped agents, automation pipelines, and infrastructure that most students never get to touch this early in their careers.

What You'll Work On

Responsibilities will vary based on skills, priorities, and the pace of the fund. Examples include:

• Design, build, and deploy custom AI agents that automate end-to-end fund operations workflows (LP triage, deal intake, data-room management, recurring reporting)
• Develop and refine agentic architectures that chain multiple tools and data sources into reliable, trigger-driven pipelines with human-in-the-loop checkpoints
